Glad you got to Rome safely. You are packing so much in as usual! I love the beautiful old buildings. The Jewish quarter would have been amazing. Did you walk up the 138 steps to keep fit? Charlotte and I would have loved playing “Tourist/Local” sitting on the Spanish Steps. Take care Barb x

Hi Barb, yes very busy, very warm and feeling safe and happy to be here. They appear to have cleaned Rome up- less rubbish. There are also less people begging due to a greater police presence.
Still much more to see. i will send photos from your happy place on Saturday week. Which pizzas were the best?

Rob you will have to get the potato one. I wanted to try it but kept missing out as there was none left! Say hi to Stefano and my happy place. It would have been such a special experience to see Il Papa.

You will need to try and get through as many of the 100 flavours of gelati that you can before you leave.
Try to keep cool in the very hot conditions.

Hi Rob, thanks for lighting a candle for my Dad at St Agnes that’s really special. How lucky are your Grade 6 students to be getting medals from Rome and the Mary prayer cards for your staff a beautiful momento. The secret bar sounded so mysterious I’m glad you got in! We will have to have your slide night when you get back because not all the photos are loading. Take care Barb xx

Hi Rob just read your last few entries. I’m still smiling about Florence. You have visited so many new places it makes me want to go back to Italy and explore somewhere else. Will you be our guide?
