The Secret Bar

Today’s classes included a presentation by a benedictine monk. He spoke about the life of a monk, assigned to a monastery for their whole life and expected to follow rules to bring the kingdom of God to the world. It is based on hard work and hospitality. Fr David explained the process of meditaion and Lectio Divina.

David explained the papal document, Amoris Letitia and the implications for families.

Classes finished at 3pm today so we walked into the Campo di Fiori to do some shopping. We spoke with many shopkeeper at a duck shop, hat shop and market stallholder. At the church of St Agnes we thought of Meghan, Charlotte, Edward and lit a candle for Edward and Barb’s dad. We found a secret bar that a waiter had tole me about 3 days before. The doorman scruitinised our equest to enter, via the hotel entrance but decided to let us in for a drink.

The views were unbelievable, will many major sites observable from the secret bar. Gelati flavours today were pestacchio and strawberry. Today is 28 June 2019.
