I had a fantastic sleep at the Naturo Azzuro e Occhio Resort n Sorrento. Breakfast was huge, lavish and delicious. Open champagne bottles, gelato cart and waffles were a few highlights of my 3 course breakfast on the patio. A nice view of the water and surrounding olive groves from my room and an amazing pool topped the experience off.
Suellen, Lolly and I met at the Port of Sorrento and set off for Positano. The houses and hotels on the cliffs were amazing. Super yachts circled the most beautiful islands, ignoring our super fast ferry as we powered past.
The sun shone brightly and we held onto our hats on the back deck of the boat, moving away from the ever-present gaze of Mount Vesuvius to Amalfi, one hour from Sorrento.
The drive from Sorrento to Naples took 2 hours due to an incredible amount of traffic. We finally arrived in Rome at 2:10 am very tired but happy to have spent some quality time with Suellen. Another wonderful day in the sun. I feel very lucky to be here.
