I’m undertaking study for 3 weeks in Rome, sponsored by ACU, at the ACU & CUA campus at Via Gariboldi.
There are 31 participants, including 15 principals from all over Melbourne.
The focus of our study includes understanding the key documents and spiritualities of the Catholic Church.
The photos show the Garibolidi Bridge, Tiber River and area surrounding the uni.
Three Coins in a Fountain.
On this warm morning we visited a flea market one street for our hotel. There was a beautiful, spelter figure clock for 150 euro. Just too heavy to carry on the plane.
We caught a tram to the Colosseum and walked to the Victor Emanuel 2 Memorial (the wedding cake) and the Trevi Fountain. On the way home we stopped and went inside the Pantheon. It was interesting to see Raphael’s crypt.
Off to uni for our induction, at 3:30pm. Well be meeting everyone and learning about the course. We’ll also have dinner together.
Happy Birthday Mum. Apologies that I’m in Rome. It’s 23 June, 2019.
